VAFs unique MPB SW19 teamed with VAFs legendary Signature I-66 loudspeakers. Glorious bass to move your Soul and your foundations.

With what is possibly the ultimate production subwoofer ever released, acclaimed Australian speaker manufacturer VAF Research has introduced a unique new model which plays deeper than humans can hear, and with effectively no audible distortion.

“The new MPB SW-19 is truly awesome” said VAFs Founder and CEO, Philip Vafiadis.

“When we test production units at the factory they literally shake the concrete floor and modulate our voices when we speak. Other than the building shaking and rattling there is no obvious distortion or noise. With over 30 years in this industry I’ve never experienced anything like this before”

The very first product using VAF’s Multi Point Bass (MPB) technology, the new SW-19 Subwoofer not only produces deep, unrestricted and clean bass, it also radiates that bass into a room with controlled dispersion in a way that blends perfectly in the best surround sound and stereo movie or music systems.

“An additional benefit of MPB is more even bass across a whole room which is not just limited to a ‘sweet spot” Mr Vafiadis said. “As a long time audiophile myself, as well as a home theatre enthusiast, I’m very pleased that VAF has been able to reconcile these two aspirations, extending the range of the very best high-end stereo systems to deeper than the deepest notes, as well as delivering unrestricted dynamics in the most ambitious home theatres”

Each of the MPB SW-19’s two parts can be stood next to floor standing speakers for a serious high-end audio statement, or alternatively their slim proportions are designed to allow a more aesthetic position slid under long low cabinets that are so popular today.

With a flat response to 19Hz and gently rolling off below that, VAF’s MPB SW19 is finished in premium Black Oak for $3,999 plus freight (they are heavy) and currently only direct from VAF Research.
