"Trickling down" the technology from the Soundsmith Sussurro cartridge, the Zephyr is a low mass design built using a unique energy distribution system within the cartridge body. Mounted on an aluminium alloy cantilever the low mass diamond stylus is capable of truly remarkable separation, imaging and sound staging. A composite body with unique energy distribution capabilities contribute the the Zephyr's ability to produce a high end performance from  cartridge at a moderate price. With a balanced frequency response, dynamic shadings and remarkable detail it's slam and impact will leave even the most die hard analog buffs breathless.

As with all Sound Smith cartridges, the Zephyr's come with a life time rebuild option that's less than 20% of the purchase price - making Sound Smith virtually a life long investment, or to put it another way an investment that could last you a life time.
