Thank you for purchasing VAF products. At VAF we stand by our products and warrant that our products will not contain defects as a result of faulty manufacturing workmanship or materials.
Our Warranty consists of the following and takes effect from the date of purchase.
About the Warranty
The Warranty covers all manufacturing defects. It does not cover freight, the customer assumes all costs and risks associated with transportation, unless special circumstances are approved by VAF, consequential damage to other devices or objects such as blown amplifiers or damaged furniture caused by a speaker falling etc., damage caused to the speakers by other equipment which may include but is not limited to clipping amplifiers, oscillating amplifiers, lightning strikes etc., user abuse or misuse, and damage caused by use in unsuitable environments which may include but is not limited to high humidity, high temperature, extreme dust, or unusually cold environments etc..
Note: Electronic components in powered subwoofers are only covered for 12 months.
Registration Upon Purchase
For simplicity you will be automatically registered once you have purchased your loudspeakers and / or SoundWall. Your personal details will be captured in our database however, you are required to retain your proof of purchase.
For Subsequent Owners
For subsequent owners who purchased VAF product(s) from the original owner, the VAF Warranty will stand for the agreed term, from the original date of purchase, against manufacturing defects. You must have proof of ownership. You are also required to provide the name and contact details of the original owner and, provide proof of purchase.
How to make a warranty claim
Simply contact VAF for your nearest VAF reference site. Any reasonable claims will be approved by VAF. VAF reserves the right to physically inspect products being claimed against before considering the validity of the claim. All claims are at the sole discretion of VAF.

Buying Hi-Fi or Home Theatre speakers from anybody carries some risk. We’re confident in our products and that’s why we want you to experience the listening pleasure of VAF speakers in your own surroundings and, if you’re not completely satisfied with them, simply contact us on FreeCall 1800 818 882 or email vaf@vaf.com.au and arrange for their return - no hassle, no fuss.
Note: this does not apply to SoundWall and customised finish speakers.
We’ll even pay the return freight and refund the price you paid for the speakers (excluding the shipping to you) and provided they are in good condition.
Sure, we’re confident, in both the sound and quality, but in the unlikely event that they are not right for you or your room, we promise to accept your decision gracefully. We only ask that if you have any feedback that would help us improve, you share it with us.
The 30 days guarantee period starts from the day you accept delivery to the day you make contact us to arrange return from most locations in Australia. For remote locations call VAF to confirm.

What will VAF do?
We will arrange a courier to collect items without undue delay. In advance of the courier arriving, we will confirm with you the most convenient weekday pickup.
When the speakers arrive back at VAF, we will inspect them. If they are in good condition, we will refund your purchase price (excluding shipping to you) within 7 days. If the speakers are not in good condition, any cost to repair them will be deducted from your refund.
