The CodeX is our dedicated streamer for the Choral range and brings advanced music streaming to the line-up for the first time. By featuring our bespoke FPGA DAC technology, the CodeX can rightly be described as one of the world’s most advanced uPnP network music players. Featuring DSD 128 file support, 384kHz playback over USB and much of the technology implemented in our flagship streamer, the DSX1000, the CodeX is a highly capable addition to the Coral line, home of the DAVE DAC.

The CodeX is one of the world’s first streaming products to offer the very latest DSD 128 playback over USB and DSD 64, plus 192kHz PCM over Ethernet. It also offers PCM decoding at up to 384kHz, making it fully compatible with the latest ultra-high-resolution music files. With our proprietary DAC technology inside, the CodeX has a significant sonic advantage over ordinary network players with off-the-shelf DAC chips.

Highly flexible, the new CodeX also boasts both USB and coaxial digital inputs which can be used to take full advantage of the device’s bespoke DAC stage. It also offers our proprietary remote motor-controlled analogue volume potentiometer, which gives highly accurate volume adjustment without the problems and low-level distortions associated with digital volume controls normally found in streaming products. With app and remote control, the CodeX is simple to use, too.
