The Hugo M-Scaler is another benchmark for the renowned UK company Chord electronics.
Since the release of the globally acclaimed BLU MKII digital transport and scaler from Chord, the performance bar was set for digital reproduction combined with their DAVE digital to analogue converter (DAC). The combination did reach past the $30k retail price, so quality did come with the cost.
Chord released the impressive Qutest DAC (RRP $2400) with twin BNC digital outputs for synchronised digital connection up to 768KHz and shortly after came the Hugo M-Scaler which accepts twin BNC digital!
The latest Hugo TT-2 DAC was also released as the next level of performance that will also connect directly o the M-Scaler.
The Hugo M-Scaler is an incredible achievement at the cost. Using the technology from the BLU MKII, it is a standalone upscaling device with the world's most advanced digital filtering. Combined with the Qtest or even better the Hugo TT-2, it's capable of redefining digital audio sound quality.
The M-Scaler is an avanced table top upscaler using the worlds most advanced unique filter design technology cpble of upscaling standard 44.1KHz audio up to 768KHz. It matches with any DAC with suitable decoding capability.
Again Chord set the bar for others who dare to follow. Match with the brand new Hugo TT-2 or Qtest and there's digital front end to rival anything on the planet.
