SoundSmith - Hyperion / Helios (Low / Med output)

Collections: Soundsmith

Type: Turntable

The highest honor and truest testament to the quality of any component is what others in that industry have to say about it.

The HYPERION has become the cartridge of choice for the most esteemed equipment manufacturers around the world.

Peter Ledermann's design calls on nature for the perfect cantilever for the Hyperion cart. Utilizing an actual 'cactus spine' for it's naturally tapered shape - low mass, extreme rigidity, incredible internal damping and tremendous strength via the stacked column shaped fibers bonded with a desiccated resin make the exact fit to create the perfect cantilever.

As with all Sound Smith cartridges, the Hyperion comes with a life time rebuild option that's less than 20% of the purchase price - making Sound Smith virtually a life long investment, or to put it another way an investment that could last you a life time.
